Real Betis Target Issues Come-and-Get-Me Plea

"Everyone Knows It's My Home"

Real Betis target Guido Rodriguez has issued a public plea to return to his former club. The Argentine midfielder left Betis to join Al-Nassr in 2020 but is now reportedly keen on a move back to Spain.

"Everyone knows that Betis is my home," Rodriguez told Spanish radio station Onda Cero. "I had two wonderful years there and I have always said that I would like to return one day."

Rodriguez's Contract Situation

Rodriguez is currently under contract with Al-Nassr until 2024. However, it is believed that the Saudi Arabian club would be willing to let him leave this summer for a fee of around €15 million.

Betis' Interest

Real Betis are reportedly interested in bringing Rodriguez back to the club. The Spanish club is in need of a defensive midfielder and Rodriguez would be a welcome addition to their squad.

Other Clubs Interested

Rodriguez is also said to be attracting interest from other clubs in Europe, including Sevilla and Valencia. However, Betis is believed to be his preferred destination.

Rodriguez's Impact at Betis

Rodriguez was a key player for Betis during his time at the club. He made 67 appearances for the Spanish side and helped them win the Copa del Rey in 2019.

Rodriguez is a strong tackler and passer of the ball. He would be a valuable addition to any team and it would be no surprise if he earns a move back to Europe this summer.
