TTC workers set to strike on June 7 if no deal reached

Twelve thousand employees represented by ATU Local 113 could walk off the job if an agreement isn't reached within the coming days

The TTC and the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 113 have until midnight to broker a new deal and avoid a strike, which would be the first in more than a decade

Unionized TTC workers are now legally able to strike for the first time in more than a decade after a court ruling last year struck down Ontario's back-to-work legislation

The union has requested a no-board report from the Ministry of Labour, putting them one step closer to a strike
