Ralf Schumacher was born on June 30, 1975, in Hürth, Germany. He is the younger brother of seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher.
Career in Motor Sports
Ralf Schumacher started his racing career in karting and Formula Three. He made his Formula One debut in 1997 with the Jordan team and went on to drive for Williams, Toyota, and other teams.
Formula One Career
180 Grand Prix Starts
Schumacher participated in 180 Grand Prix races between 1997 and 2007, scoring six victories and 27 podium finishes.
Major Achievements
He won the Canadian Grand Prix in 2001 and 2002 and the European Grand Prix in 2004. He also finished second in the 2003 Formula One Drivers' Championship.
Later Career and Retirement
Move to DTM
After leaving Formula One, Schumacher competed in the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) series, where he won the championship in 2010 and 2011.
Retirement
Schumacher retired from professional racing in 2012.
